oval pecan bowl

apGwilym: TR Williams
Carved Oval Pecan Bowl

This small hand-carved bowl was made from the limb of a pecan tree which had been planted by Henry Clay or his son on their Ashland estate, now central Lexington near Woodland Park. The tree lost many limbs in the ice storm of 2003. I was made a gift of the wood by Pam and Bob Sexton.

Dimensions are 11 x 4 x 2 in.

$60
